Saturated Market
I just came off from a phone meeting with a business consultant from one of the high-profile coaching businesses in the US, and during our conversation I mentioned the fact that I was leaving my CPA practice to start a full time coaching business starting October 1, 2017. His response was candid and clear, “you are entering a very saturated market where anybody can create a fancy website and call themselves a life coach.” The competition is steep” he continued. But only fell short of telling me, you need to stay where you are and grow this thing you have started. Though this is true to some extent, it is also a half truth to the spectrum of polarity. And, while this may be true on the surface, (an absolute indicator to so many analysts) it is equally true that each one of us has unique gifts to share with the world. And these gifts each one of us possess is so unique to us that no one can replicated anyone else gift. So, after the phone conversation, I felt even more inclined to believe that even with all the indicators pointing toward a saturated market, I have unshakable faith that my message will always reach a large audience.
This conversation is another reminder that our human mind is trained to see the limitation and not the vast opportunities. In fact, our five senses perceive a limited world, where we must compete for everything we want. This include, love, abundance, resources, health etc. But this is not the case when we tune in to our inner guidance for advice and answers. For we are all co-creating our own life experiences when we live the best version of who we are. So, after the conversation I sat quietly on my chair, closed my eyes to reflect on what was discussed. I then said to myself no solicited or unsolicited advice will destruct me from my path, because I refuse to live in anyone else perception no matter how true their advice might be. Instead, I will be like a charged lioness looking for a hunt – hunt in this context is all those things that I deeply desire – and I know for sure, with effortless ease I will fulfill my truest desire.
I wrote and published a wonderful book titled “Say I can” – Be a Deliberate Co-Creator of Your Own Life based on a single thought that I held in mind for a nanosecond. This thought transported me to a magical place of infinite possibilities and after I recovered from this experience, I felt inspired to begin doing the things I want for myself and serve those around me. Over time, I noted a growing desire to share more and more of this part of myself with anyone who would resonate with this message.
So, when you receive any form of advice whether true or not, ask yourself, does what is said to me resonate with my inner guidance? If not, choose to follow what truly speaks to your heart. Occasionally, you may want someone else like a mentor to lead you to the path, to help you gain clarity and many other things but know this, your path is only known by you and with all the good intentions from the mentors, they cannot change the direction of your path unless you accept and choose to follow their advice.
Each day, practice to be a steward of infinite possibilities and be whatever only you truly desire.
With Love!
